LET’S START CAMP ALREADY! WE NEED IT! SERIOUSLY!

Dear Briarwood Family,

Winter stinks (that’s a photo of Matt and Mike in the pdf version of the Bugle standing on the frozen lake) but we can see the end in sight – there are less than four months until camp! While the days are still cold and the nights are still long, we’re busy making plans for another great summer.

We’ll have lots of fun stuff, great counselors and everything else you love about Briarwood! Like what? Like sports and art and nature and swimming and the jumper and the zoom floom and bunk shows and a supercool new element at the Adventure Course and a bigger fishing dock and clubs and Goofy Day and Color War and Chinese lunch and Carnival and an all-camp Gaga Tournament and Crazy Hat Day and other surprises and and and . . .

I LOVE BRIARWOOD BECAUSE . . .

One of the best parts about camp is getting to watch our campers grow year after year. The smiles, the laughter, the friends – all priceless. It’s why we do what we do.

Sometimes we get notes or emails or drawings from our campers or our parents. They’re so heartwarming and we’re so happy to show them off (you may see some displayed in the office or other places around camp).

Anyway, we’re thinking about compiling these notes in a more meaningful way. Does your camper (or do you) have something to say? We’d love to hear it!

Send us an email (with attachments if you’d like) to ilovebriarwood@briarwooddaycamp.com and we’ll save it, maybe make a book and we’ll also send you a Briarwood note pad as an additional thanks!

BRIARWOOD CAMPER HEALTH FORMS ARE NOW LIVE AND ONLINE. LET’S DO THIS!

We need our camp families to fill out our campers’ health forms so we can provide good care. Please don’t wait—please complete your forms now. We like to have the forms early so we can best prepare for the summer. Thanks!

JOIN US AT OUR OPEN HOUSE ON MAY 12, 2018

Please join us at our Open House on Saturday, May 12 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. See the camp, take a tour, make new friends and maybe catch up with old ones. Feel free to bring friends!

Briarwood’s Busy Bee Play Date will be WEDNESDAY, MAY 23 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Stay tuned for details!
