Can you believe that camp is half way done? We sure can’t! We had another amazing week—lower and upper camp bunk shows, Halloween in July (great costumes!), intercamp sports, CIT and Super CIT trips and much, much more.
We’ve got more amazingness next week– Bring-A-Friend, new clubs, CIT trip to the beach, Super CIT trip to Busch Gardens, Goofy Day and for the first time, we will have our Briarwood All-Camp Gaga Tournament! It is open to everyone and the winner in each division will get a championship belt. (Really!) Should be fun!

Senior Camp So Far…So FUN!! By Dan Feldgus

Wow! Four weeks down already. It’s unbelievable. Camp is flying by—as it always seems to when we have this much fun! The best part though is that we still have big trips yet to come. We have been to Hershey, Dorney and tubing. We have competed on fields and courts during leagues and have bonded as only a group comprised of three different ages can do.
In the coming weeks, we still have the Supers (who gave themselves the bunk name of the Goats) going to Williamsburg and Escape the Room, while the Eagles and Foxes (8th and 9th graders) will be heading to New Hope, New York and the beach.
We are so very proud of senior camp. They are responsible, energetic, entertaining and simply so much fun to be around! Orli, Devyn, Sorelle, Alex, Paul and I can’t thank them enough for the days we have had and for the fun times ahead!
Congratulations to Doubles Tennis Tournament Winners Declan Capuano and Eli VaNnerson from the Bulldogs!

BRIARWOOD STAFF MEMBERS OF THE WEEK:

Senior Staff: Paul Richman
Junior Staff: Mason Gross

Congratulations!

Notes from the Lifeguard Chair by Rob Resnick, Briarwood Pool Director
Our campers continue on their journey to learn how to be safe in and around the water. Most importantly, they are learning how to swim well! As the children progress through the levels and develop these skills, they become safer and better swimmers. Please remember that children develop swimming skills at different rates. Please encourage your children to enjoy swim lessons!
